Joining and Cutting Technology
Technical products go through several joining and
separating steps until completion. These processing steps
are particularly relevant for the high quality and economic
success of the production. The aim of the research
and development activities is to optimize production
processes in terms of quality and productivity. For this
purpose, the researchers have access to a machine
park with modern laser beam sources, friction welding
equipment and a wide range of measuring and analysis
instruments. The team’s expertise ranges from process
analysis, systems engineering and technology consulting
to process simulation.
